Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Signet LLC ("Signet", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app "Machinist Tap Drill Chart" (the "App") handles information. The App has no account, shows no advertising, and computes every result on your device from tables shipped inside it. It works with the device offline.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or any other personal information, and it requests no system permissions.
The threads you save, the results you produce, your unit preference, your percent-of-thread setting, and your drill-set selection are stored on your device only. There is no iCloud sync and no server of ours. Deleting the App deletes them.
The App displays no advertising, contains no advertising SDK, and never presents an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
We collect a small amount of product analytics about the upgrade screen, described under Product Analytics below. The threads you look up are not part of it.
If you contact support from inside the App, we receive the message you write and, when the App can supply it, an anonymous purchase identifier so that a support request can be matched to a receipt without asking you for one.
2. Purchases
Pro is available as a one-time purchase and as an auto-renewing weekly subscription. Both unlock the same features.
The App uses RevenueCat to manage the Pro entitlement for both products. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, purchase and subscription status, receipt information, device type, operating system version, and app version. RevenueCat is not given your name or email address.
Payment is processed by Apple. We never receive or store your payment card information.
3. Product Analytics
The App uses TelemetryDeck to understand how the upgrade screen performs. We record when it is shown, which feature led you to it, which plan was selected, and whether a purchase or a restore succeeded or failed. A failure is recorded as a short reason code, never as the underlying error text.
We do not send what you look up. Thread designations, drill sizes, percent-of-thread settings, saved threads, and result history never leave your device.
TelemetryDeck is given no name, email address, account identifier, advertising identifier, or location. This data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the App's privacy manifest declares no tracking.
4. Third-Party Services
Apple: App Store distribution and in-app purchases are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy.
RevenueCat: used to manage purchase and subscription entitlement and to restore purchases.
TelemetryDeck: used for the product analytics described above.
Slack: support inquiries may be delivered to our internal Slack workspace so that we can read and answer them. It is used only for handling support.
There is no advertising provider, no consent-management provider, no crash-reporting provider, and no cloud database. The App makes no network request to display a result.
5. How We Use Information
Locally stored data is used to give you the App's features: your saved threads, your result history, and the settings you chose.
Purchase and subscription information is used to unlock Pro, keep entitlement current, and restore purchases on a new device.
Product analytics are used to see where people leave the upgrade screen so that we can make the offer clearer. They are not used to build a profile of you.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored data remains on your device until you remove it in the App or delete the App. Because it is never uploaded, deleting the App is sufficient to delete it.
Purchase and subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to operate purchase restoration and entitlement checks.
Product analytics events are retained by TelemetryDeck in aggregate form and are not linked to an individual.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is a professional reference tool. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date.
